Cornwall Athletics Academy
Our Saturday morning session known as Saturday Athletics Club is part of the Academy setup and aimed towards young athletes aged 4 to 16 years old, new or experienced.
With registration from 10am, the main coaching session, for 8-year-olds and older, begins at 10.30am with, warm ups start promptly at 10.30am and the main sessions are aimed to finish around 12.30pm. Our Mini Minors group for 4-7 year olds commences at 10.30am until 11.30am. The athletes try out all track and field disciplines in a relaxed and fun way and are rotated around each week as recommended by England Athletics guidelines.
On arrival please pay at the Clubhouse at the finish line end of the track entering via the track side gate and don’t forget to log your car registration number at the Leisure Centre car parking touch screens.
Parents are very welcome to stay and are encouraged to help alongside our team of coaches particularly when we have Five Star and local competitions. If you are interested in further opportunities to become a coach or track and field official please come and talk to us.
Refreshments are available in the Clubhouse.
